The 10’4 is a very floaty, high volume board. It’s an incredibly stable stable board for it’s size, due to it’s large volume.
The thickness of this board stops you having to go longer and helps to save a little more on space.
On the 10’4, you’ll be able to fit one parent and multiple kids, maybe even the whole family. The kids can play on it, you can do SUP Yoga, you can throw on the esky or some bags. This comes with tie downs to keep everything secure.
It’s mainly just a playful board, but it does have some nose rocker so you can catch some small waves or little white waters.
This board is the rock of inflatables. There is strategically placed, dual layers of rubber around the rails to provide increased strength and rigidity without adding to weight. In between the top and bottom layers of the rubber is dropstitch – a nylon stitch material. This helps the board retain integrity and a uniform shape.
Inflatables are great if you don’t have the space for a full SUP board. They’re great for use on boats or for travelling. An inflatable board of this size will take you 2.5-3 minutes to pump up with a dual action pump, or 5-7 minutes with a single action pump.
The 9’4 inflatable suits single users or a smaller family. It can fit one parent and a small child.
The 10’4 suits the whole family. It could take one parent and multiple kids, or even two parents and a child.
